FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Whether IPFW will split into two different schools is still up in the air.

Purdue University and Indiana University are working to create a new management agreement for IPFW.

The school’s current management agreement expires at the end of June, according to the Journal Gazette. Purdue currently provides administration for IPFW, but students are able to earn a degree from either school.

Purdue President Mitch Daniels and Indiana University President Michael McRobbie didn’t say if the school will split.

Indiana and Purdue will consider recommendations of the Legislative Services Agency Working Group, the IPFW Community Council, various individuals and community leaders, before creating the new agreement.
