President Obama to Visit Indianapolis on Friday

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -The White House says President Barack Obama will visit Indianapolis on Friday to speak about middle class economics during an appearance at Ivy Tech Community College.

White House spokesman Keith Maley said Monday the president will also touch on “making the paychecks of working families go further,'' preparing Americans to earn higher wages and “keeping good, high-paying jobs in America.''

Maley says details of Obama's visit to the Indianapolis school will be available later in the week.

The president last visited Indiana in October, when he toured Millennium Steel Service LLC near Princeton. The minority-owned steel processing plant supplies processed steel for Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana.

That visit was Obama's first such trip to Indiana in more than three years following a flurry of visits early in his presidency.
