FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A mixed-use development on the southeast side of Fort Wayne is getting a boost from the American Electric Power Foundation.

The Journal Gazette reports that Posterity Heights, which is being built as housing for single parents looking to finish their college education, has received $150,000 from the Foundation.

A special check presentation was held Monday as the developers showed both AEP and the media progress that’s been made on the project on Plaza Drive.

It’ll have apartments, lease-to-own homes, and a childhood learning center once construction is finished. Learn more here.
