DELPHOS, Oh. (WOWO): After the severe storms that brought heavy rain to the Fort Wayne area, a county just southeast in Ohio may have had a tornado touch down.
Van Wert County Emergency Management Director Rick McCoy tells the Times Bulletin that at 5:10 p.m. on Wednesday, a storm cell that passed just west of Delphos caused damage over one and a half miles long and 25-yards wide. McCoy says witnesses observed a tornado, but there's no word from the National Weather Service if what they saw was actually a tornado.
No injuries were reported. They say the damage starts Brickner Road and Lincoln Highway.
