STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Officials in Steuben County are asking for the public’s help in finding a wanted non-compliant registered sex offender. An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday charging 26-year-old Corey Witsman with one count of failure to register as a sex or violent offender.

The warrant comes after officials learned that Witsman’s whereabouts were allegedly unknown following an arrest warrant that was issued in August alleging Witsman had violated the terms of his probation from a conviction of sexual misconduct with a minor in 2013.

Witsman is a white male standing 5’10” tall, and weighs approximately 165 lbs. He has hazel eyes and short auburn colored hair. He was last known to have goatee-type facial hair. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Corey Witsman is asked to contact the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office or Steuben County Crime Stoppers.
