Police Search for Alleged Armed Robber

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Around 4:00 this morning, Warsaw Police responded to the Lassus Handy Dandy on Plaza Drive on report of an armed robbery. The store clerk told police that the suspect was acting strange and milling around the store. Once other customers left, the suspect approached the counter, displayed a black handgun, and demanded cash. He then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 30’s, wearing a white zip up hoodie with a dark design on the right side of the hood and a dark design on the chest. The clerk said he may have short black hair and a goatee.
