GREENSBURG, Ind. (AP): Police in southeastern Indiana say a 13-year-old boy has died after he was shot inside his family's home.
Greensburg police Detective Bill Meyerrose says the shooting happened Tuesday evening and involved a gun that belonged to someone in the home.
The Decatur County coroner tells the Greensburg Daily News that Craig Roberts died from a gunshot wound.
Meyerrose says the shooting appears to be accidental but that the investigation was continuing. The teen was a student at Greensburg Junior High School in the city about 40 miles southeast of Indianapolis.
