Police Reach out to Community

ANGOLA, Ind. (WOWO): Angola Police are launching a program called Coffee with a Cop and its designed to build relationships and create open discussion about community issues.

 

It's a proactive way to build contracts before urgent emergency or emotional situations. 

 

The first event is scheduled for Saturday at 8am at Great Lakes Coffee in place Angola. 

 

Police Chief Stu Hamblen wants it to make it easy to talk with his officers about the issues that matter most to them.
