FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An armed robber held up a DJ when he was loading his equipment after an event on Sunday.

Police responded in reference to the armed robbery on Winter Street yesterday afternoon. According to the victim he had his van parked on Hugh just west of Winter. As he was walking to his vehicle to load up some equipment, a man wearing a ski mask came from behind some bushes and pulled out a gun. The suspect told the victim to face the van, then reached into his pockets and took everything he had. The victim then said the suspect ran away.

The victim later described the suspect as about 5’8” – 5’10” tall and approximately 185-200 pounds. He also described the gun as a small semiautomatic handgun, gray or sliver in color.

Police are currently still investigating.
