Police: Noblesville man dies after pellet gun shooting…

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ Police say a suburban Indianapolis man has died after being shot in the chest by a pellet gun.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department says deputies were called Wednesday night to a home near Noblesville to assist medics with a possible heart attack. They arrived to find 45-year-old Jesus Martinez-Lopez lying in the driveway with the chest wound.

Department spokesman Deputy Bryant Orem says Martinez-Lopez was pronounced dead at a Noblesville hospital.

Orem says a 19-year-old Noblesville man was arrested on a preliminary charge of reckless homicide but that he couldn't yet give details on what led up to the shooting.

Authorities didn't immediately release details about the injuries to Martinez-Lopez or what caused his death.
