Police Investigating Hit-and-Run Crash near Warsaw

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Kosciusko County police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened Monday night, just north of Warsaw.

Police and medics arrived on the scene to find bicyclist Joseph Rosse of Wabash lying in a ditch near County Road 300 North, suffering from arm and chest pain.

It was later determined that the 27-year-old had a collapsed left lung. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

According to police, Roose was traveling eastbound on County Road 300 North when he was approached from behind by an unknown vehicle heading in the same direction.  Roose stated that he was suddenly struck by the passing vehicle and went airborne after the impact.  The vehicle then continued on eastbound from the scene.
