FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One person is dead after a Sunday night shooting on Oliver Street.

Police were called to a home where they found the victim with gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, they saw a number of people fleeing the scene.

Medical crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.. According to the Journal Gazette, police are trying to interview witnesses to determine a suspect.

The incident may be related to another shooting occurred in the area earlier in that day. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fort Wayne Police Department (427-1222) or Crime Stoppers (436-7867).
