Police Investigate Early Morning Robbery

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police are looking for a man who held up a northwest gas station with a knife.

An employee at the Speedway Gas Station on Sherman told police she wasn't sure if the man was serious when he demanded money very quietly at around 6am. The employee started to hand over some cash but then bolted for the back of the store, locking herself in the manager's office. The robber tried getting in before giving up and leaving with an unknown amount of cash. Police say he's white, 20-years-old with blue eyes, a grey hoodie, bandana and pajama pants.
