FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two armed suspects robbed a man on E. Creightonn Street around 1:15 p.m., Sunday afternoon.

According to police, two men, both armed with handguns approached the victim who was in his car, and took the victim’s cash. During the robbery, the victim was pistol-whipped by one of the perpetrators. The victim was able to speed away, but in doing so, hit one of the suspects, knocking him to the ground.

Witnesses told police that one of the two suspects involved possibly ran into a nearby home on E. Creighton Street. Officers searched the home, but did not find any suspects. In the meantime, the incident is still being investigated,
