Police: Indiana Couple Arrested Again for Steroid Operation

RUSHVILLE, Ind. (AP) – A Rushville couple has been arrested on charges related to manufacturing illegal steroids for the second time after police say they resumed operations of an in-home steroid lab.

David and Holly Starkey were arrested this week after police executed a search warrant on their Rushville home. The discovery came five months after the couple was initially arrested and charged. Rushville Police Chief Craig Tucker tells WISH-TV the most recent steroid lab was similar to the first one but slightly smaller.

Court records show officers found 200 vials of finished steroids, plastic tubing, cash, scales and other lab materials. Tucker says the approximate street value of the steroids is $20,000.

The Starkeys now face five charges related to the possession and distribution of a controlled substance.
