Police identify man found in Maumee River

PAULDING, Ohio (WOWO): A man whose body was found in the Maumee River in Paulding County recently has been identified.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Department says dental records were used to confirm the identity of 42-year-old Steven Pascal Oliver of Fort Wayne, who had last been seen on March 16 of this year.

His body was found in the river on May 28 near the Indiana-Ohio State Line.

He had not been reported missing, and Sheriff Jason Landers says he had been living in area shelters. There were no sings of foul play discovered.
