Police Crack Down on…Themselves

Distracted driving its incredibly dangerous for everyone, even police officers. If you’re caught texting and driving, you get a ticket. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, the same rules may soon apply to police officers who are driving down the street typing on their computers. Fort Wayne Police chief, Rusty York, says he wants to keep his officers safe and so he wants to implement a new system that would disable an officer’s keyboard and touch screen in all cruisers if the car is moving more than 15 mph.
