Police Believe More Remains of Missing Woman Found

PAOLI, Ind. (AP) – State police say investigators investigating a tip believe they have found more remains of a southern Indiana woman missing since June.

Forty-nine-year-old Jeffrey Fulton of rural Paoli already has been charged with murder in the death of his wife, 34-year-old Michelle Fulton. Authorities previously had found burned remains of her body in their backyard about 40 miles south of Bloomington.

State police said Friday more remains were found in an open field near the home. State police say DNA testing is planned.

Jeffrey Fulton is being held on $1 million bond.

Fulton told police he hadn't seen his wife since dropping her off in June near a store in Jasper.
