Police Ask for Help in Credit Card Case

This man is a suspect in a string of credit card fraud cases at numerous local liquor stores.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Someone used fraudulent cards to make off with more than $9,000 in a series of crimes at Fort Wayne beverage stores and police need your help identifying him.

On March 3 and 4th a man targeted six Cap and Cork stores in Fort Wayne.

Investigators say the suspect used multiple ID's and cards to purchase thousands of dollars of merchandise at each store. 

The stores include:
March 3
6410 Jefferson Blvd., (Covington Plaza)
1031 Broadway (Downtown)
3603 Brooklyn Avenue (Foster Park)

March 4
4520 Lima Road 
10020 Lima Road (Dupont)

The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the theft suspect captured in the attached surveillance photographs. Anyone with information that can lead to his identification is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP (436-7867)

The suspect is described as black man, standing 6-foot-3, weighing 230 pounds. He was driving a black Honda Civic with New York license plates.
