Police Arrest North Webster Dad for Manufacturing Meth near 9-Year-Old Son

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Tuesday morning Warsaw Police arrested a North Webster father for cooking meth with his 9-year-old son present.

Initially undercover officers purchased meth from 34-year-old, Steven Iden II. After the purchase, it was later determined that Iden was manufacturing meth in his apartment, with his son there.

Several law enforcement agencies went to the apartment and upon entering immediately detected the smell of chemicals. There was also a chemical haze in the apartment.

Officers found Iden trying to dispose of the meth manufacturing products. He was taken to the Kosciusko County Jail and booked on a B felony charge of dealing/delivering/manufacturing methamphetamine. His bond was set at $10,000 surety.

The child was taken into protective custody by CPS.
