Plan Commission to Consider Senior Citizen Development

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A new senior citizen's development could be coming to the city's north side.

Fort Wayne's Plan Commission is considering a 140 unit development for adults 55 years-old and older.

If approved, the $10 million dollar project would be built near Coldwater and Wallen Roads.

According to the News-Sentinel, developers say seniors citizens are one of the quickest growing groups in Allen County. Plan commission could approve the development next week.

It would still need to be rezoned by city council. If all goes to plan, work could get started before the end of summer.
