Pierecton Man Arrested for Intimidation after Waving Gun at Fort Wayne Cop

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Pierceton man is behind bars after waiving a gun at a Fort Wayne police officer.

Police arrested 51-year-old Dale Riley on Tuesday for intimidation with a deadly weapon.

It happened on US 30 in Fort Wayne when the suspect abruptly merged into the lane of an unmarked excise officer and raised his hands in the air in what police describe as an “angry manner”.

It was then that the officer saw Riley raise a handgun and point it to the roof of his car three of four times, and even chambering a round as he was driving.

When officers stopped the vehicle, they found a 9mm handgun, a speed radar gun, and an in-car video system inside.
