Pet Adopt-a-Thon To Save Hundreds of Homeless Pets

Fort Wayne, INDIANA – September 17, 2012

H.O.P.E. for Animals Spay/Neuter Clinic will be hosting their 2nd Annual Pet Adopt-A-Thon on September 29 & 30, 2012 from 10 am – 3 pm.  The event will feature 20 animal welfare organizations, shelters, and rescue groups. Over 100 animals will be available for adoption! In addition, 20 business vendors such as groomers, trainers, pet good suppliers and more will be present. A FREE rabies vaccine will be given with the purchase of the Core-combo vaccinations (a $15.00 value). Low Cost Micro-chipping and Heartworm tests will also be made available by HOPE. The event will be located at 1333 Maycrest Drive at HOPE for Animals’ Spay and Neuter Clinic.

“This event is an opportunity for us to help the local shelters and rescues showcase their adoptable pets all in one place. We had a great response last year and over 50 animals were adopted out from that one day. We are hoping by having it for two days this year that even more pets will have a chance to find their forever families. Not to mention it is a great time… ”  –Madeleine Laird, Executive Director.

HOPE for Animals is excited to support adoption groups in their endeavor to find permanent loving homes for the animals in their care.
