INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana Governor Mike Pence, who is Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump’s running mate, says Trump was “of course not” encouraging violence against Hillary Clinton in a speech Trump made Tuesday.

An a campaign stop in Virginia, Trump told the crowd that there was nothing they could do if Hillary Clinton became president and stacked the Supreme Court with anti-gun justices. Then Trump said, “Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is… I don’t know.”

Some Democrats are accusing Trump of openly encouraging violence, but Pence says Trump was instead saying that gun rights supporters “should be involved in the political process and let their voice be heard.”

Pence, who has been reinterpreting Trump’s statements in the past couple of weeks in his capacity as the VP pick, likened Trump’s campaign to a football game in front of a Pittsburgh crowd:

“It’s almost as though the Steelers had to play an entire season at away games, in front of hostile crowds, with hometown refs. But, they’d still win, wouldn’t they?”

Trump was not suggesting an assassination, he was eluding to the possibility of a citizen revolt or even a civil war. If Democrats win in November and then attempt to “legally” eliminate gun ownership by citizens. If you think this is fantasy, examine what occurred in Australia.

It happened in Australia and it can happen here if we elect Hillary Clinton.

I wrote a novel, Revolution 2016: Take Back America. Tells the story on one possible consequence of a Hillary Clinton victory. Of course there are many others: The Union could splinter; a second civil war, Patriots against Progressives; or, guns are confiscated and the Constitutional Republic of the United States becomes a socialist state.

Thomas Jefferson said, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” The Second Amendment guarantees citizens’ right to water the tree. Trump was hinting that this right may be exercised.
