FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Tuesday afternoon, officials with Turnstone announced Parkview Health as its exclusive medical partner.

According to a press release, Parkview will help Turnstone further its mission to provide therapeutic, educational, wellness and recreational programs to empower people with disabilities. This partnership will also help Turnstone attract new Olympic/Paralympic athletes and will allow for Turnstone to expand other programs and services that serve Fort Wayne and our surrounding area.

“Turnstone’s commitment to the betterment of our community through their health and well-being efforts, while empowering individuals with disabilities, is unmatched,” said Mike Packnett, president and CEO, Parkview Health. “Serving as Turnstone’s medical partner, we look forward to working together to offer the community new and improved resources.”

Parkview also made a financial contribution towards Turnstone for the Turnstone of Tomorrow project.

“The contribution given to us by the Parkview groups has helped us to construct the building that will allow for many more people with disabilities to be served now and well into the future,” said Turnstone CEO Mike Mushett. “We are grateful for the financial support but also the future medical support for our athletes and clients.”
