Parking at FWA Gets Easier

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  A new payment system will be offered to parking lot users at the Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) come April 2014.

Republic Parking and the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority have announced the installation of QP QuickPay. It’s a secure mobile app that allows you to park in any FWA parking lot and pay using only your mobile device.

Users of QP Quickpay will also not have to provide a ticket to the parking booth attendant.

“We are excited to offer the new QuickPay mobile payment service to our parking customers,” stated Scott Hinderman, Executive Director of Airports. “With our partner, Republic Parking, we continually strive to make the parking experience easier at FWA, and the QP QuickPay mobile app allows us to do so.”

Before you come to the airport, download the free QP QuickPay smartphone app. Then once you arrive to any airport parking lot, scan a QR Code at the lot entrance to raise the gate. When it’s time to leave, scan the QR Code at the exit and your credit card will automatically be charged. An e-receipt will be e-mailed after the transaction is completed.

“We are excited to work with innovative partners Republic Parking and FWA to bring mobile innovation to the airport’s customers”, said Barney Pell, CEO of QuickPay.
