HOWE, Ind. (WOWO): The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department is searching for two people accused of stealing fireworks from a Marathon gas station in Howe on Friday night.
Deputies say a man and woman came in to the Marathon at 0050 W 750 N around 10:20 p.m. and were caught on surveillance video stealing a large package of fireworks valued at $160. They left a few minutes later.
The man is described as about 6’0″ tall with short black hair and wearing a black T-shirt and jean shorts. The woman has dark hair and was wearing a black T-shirt and pink shorts.
Officials have identified the pair, but are not releasing their names as of this time. The incident remains under investigation.
