Painted Bison to Celebrate Indiana Bicentennial

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Painted bison sculptures and quilted gardens are set to pop up in honor of Indiana's bicentennial celebration. A state commission lead by first lady Karen Pence has approved those projects and several others to mark Indiana's 200th anniversary of statehood in 2016. Children's books related to state history, art exhibits and a digital archive of old photos from albums or attics were some of the approved legacy projects.
