Over 400 iPads Stolen from Sullivan County School

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Authorities say someone stole 406 iPads, charges and computer monitors from North Central High School in Farmersburg.

Northeast School Corporation Superintendent Dr. Mark Baker says the theft happened sometime during the overnight hours between this past Tuesday and Wednesday. He says they noticed someone had broken into the school through a window.

Baker says the iPads and other stolen equipment amount to about a $200,000 loss.

Schools officials are looking into whether insurance will cover replacement costs. The Sullivan County Sheriff‘s Department and Indiana State Police are investigating the incident.
