UPDATED: One man dead after motorcycle accident on I-69

UPDATED: The Allen County Coroner has identified the man killed in a motorcycle crash on I-469 last Saturday afternoon.

Mark Thomas Hamilton, 60 of Leo-Cedarville, died due to blunt force trauma due to a motorcycle crash. The coroner ruled his death as an accident.

EARLIER: Fort Wayne, IN (WOWO): Around 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Fort Wayne Police responded to a motorcycle accident on the I-69 southbound ramp from I-469 westbound near the Auburn Road exit.  The victim was found on the northern most edge of the road and his motorcycle was located about 400 feet in a deep ravine.  The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police indicated that speed is a factor in the accident.  Once positive identification of the victim has been determined, The Allen County Coroners office will release their name.  This crash remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department.
