One dead after motorcycle crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An investigation is underway after a car and a motorcycle collided, leaving one person dead.

Fort Wayne Police were called to the crash at the intersection of Ohio and Eliza Streets at approximately 4:55 p.m. Friday. Once on scene officers found the driver of the motorcycle down and unresponsive. Medics pronounced the motorcyclist, 25-year-old Har But of Fort Wayne, dead at the scene. The driver of the car was uninjured.

Officers believe the motorcycle was traveling on Ohio Street at a high rate of speed and when it reached Eliza Street, the car entered into the intersection colliding with the motorcycle.

This incident remains under investigation.
