COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP): The state of Ohio is planning to auction off nearly 300 surplus vehicles this weekend in Columbus.
A spokesman for the Ohio Department of Administrative Services says about 200 of the vehicles to be auctioned today are cars. The list also includes vans, trucks and sport utility vehicles.
State agencies have declared the vehicles surplus because of damage or because they’ve reached the end of their life cycle for government use. Vehicles will be sold in their current condition.
The auction at DAS headquarters starts at 9 a.m. today.
