FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The cause of a Jan. 7th fire that destroyed the Warsaw Community Schools bus garage is still under investigation, but officials now think it may have been accidental.

The day of the fire, investigators removed some items of concern that were electrical in nature and took them back to a private lab for further testing. Warsaw Wayne Township Fire Chief Mike Wilson says there don’t appear to be any illegal events or strange activities involved in the blaze, which forced the cancellation of classes for the day and did about $3-million in damage to the school district’s transportation building.

WCS Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert says the school corporation is in the final design stage for a new bus garage and will soon begin the bidding process for construction.
