Not Enough Votes For Fort Wayne Sign Project

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The controversial funding of city signs through the Legacy Fund project got the votes, but not the money.

The City Council voted 4-2 Tuesday night, but it that wasn't enough to allocate $168,900 in Legacy funds for the signs. The Journal Gazette says the issue is now a mute point until they sway the 1 extra vote needed. Those who are against the signs want to find a private funding source instead.
