FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): If you’re looking for special services for your pet, or maybe you’re looking to adopt, you might want to visit the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne this weekend.

The annual Northern Indiana Pet Expo is set for this Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 4 both days. Jessica Henry of the Allen County SPCA says there will definitely be opportunities to meet a new four-legged friend:

“We should have about 40 dogs – 18 are puppies – and more than 30 tiny kittens out there (for adoption),” Henry says.

There will also be education and training sessions, cheap microchipping for dogs and cats, an obstacle course for pets, and a lot of freebies.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and kids under 12. Proceeds benefit homeless dogs and cats at the Allen County SPCA.
