Northeast Indiana Aluminum Plant Announces Layoffs

WABASH, Ind. (WOWO): An aluminum plant in Wabash has laid off more than 100 workers.

On December 31st, Harvey Industries LLC told the Indiana Department of Workforce Development their company laid off 143 workers due to “unforeseen business circumstances.”

The reason for Harvey's layoffs will only be temporary, according to our partners in new at 21Alive. The layoffs are expected to last no longer than 5 months.
