None injured in attic fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One person escaped injury from a house fire on Trentman Avenue Friday night.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called to 2408 Trentman at about 10:35pm. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from the gutters of the house. The occupant of the home had gotten themselves out before firefighters arrived.

Firefighters found a small fire in the attic of the home and extinguished it. Extensive overhaul was needed in the attic area of the home, which received moderate damage. No injuries were reported and the fire remains under investigation.
