FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): For nearly 40 years, one of the top destinations in the Summit City was The Summit Club. It sat atop the old Fort Wayne National Bank Building and at its peak of popularity it was considered by many as the place to be. Now there's a new catering and events venue to take up residence in its place in the PNC Bank building. Empyrean Events and Catering will host private and corporate events. Owners say it will be gourmet food in a cutting edge environment. The original Summit Club closed in 2009.
