New Location for Fort Wayne 4th of July Fireworks

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): This year’s Fourth of July fireworks display in Fort Wayne will not be held at IPFW. Mayor Tom Henry and community partners announced Thursday that the new location will be One Summit Square in the city’s downtown. The TinCaps are in action that night at Parkview Field, and the fireworks planned there will now be part of the fireworks sent off at One Summit Square. The show is scheduled to start at 10:00 P.M. If the TinCaps game isn’t over by then, the fireworks will start afterward.
