New hotel coming to Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A groundbreaking is set for a new $35 million hotel and retail center development in the Dupont area.

A groundbreaking will be held on the 17-acre site at 10650 Diebold Road on Tuesday, Dec. 4 according to Inside Indiana Business.

The “Parkside” project by Blue Flame Hospitality will include a 172-room hotel dual-brand hotel featuring Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites.

“We are thrilled to welcome even more visitors to the Fort Wayne area,” said Jason Patel, president and CEO of Blue Flame Hospitality. “Our family has built, owned, and operated multiple hotels here over the past 30 years. This is our largest project to date, and we can’t wait to get started.”

The hotel will employ about 100 people.
