New Haven police investigating shooting that hurt 12-year-old boy

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): A boy was grazed by a bullet in New Haven Thursday.

Police responded at about 2:40 p.m. Thursday to a trailer park on Moeller Road west of Adams Center.

When they arrived, they discovered 12 shell casings in the road in front of the mobile home, along with bullet holes in the front of the home, according to 21Alive.

A 12-year-old was inside after the bullet grazed his leg. His injuries are non-life threatening.

Witnesses say the suspects drove up in an orange or rust colored car with a black stripe on it. The driver is described as a black male and had a small handgun.
