New Haven City Employees get Extra Pay Period in 2015

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): New Haven city employees will be getting paid more next year after final approval last night to add an extra pay period.


Even though next year's budget is slightly lower, the extra pay period adds about a 3.8 percent raise, according to the city's financial consultant.

According to the Journal Gazette, there are normally 26 pay periods for New Haven employees paid on a biweekly basis. Next year, there will be 27.
