VAN WERT, Ohio (WOWO): A special new church in Van Wert looks to appeal to bikers.

Our Partners in News at 21Alive report it’s called White Horse Biker Church, and it held its first service yesterday morning outside a home on Liberty Street, with a small turnout.

Pastor Steve Haskin, otherwise known as “Pastor Slowride,” says he actually started the ministry back in 1998, and says the idea is to be a “church of doers, not sitters,” with plans for community outreach efforts and charity rides.

The church meets every Sunday morning at 10am at 744 Liberty Street in Van Wert.
