INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Some families have started moving back into new houses in the Indianapolis neighborhood ravaged by an explosion more than 11 months ago that killed two people.
David Kelley and his family moved last month into their rebuilt home in the Richmond Hill subdivision on the city's far south side.
Their house was among 29 ordered demolished by city officials because of damage from the Nov. 10 explosion. City officials say 15 rebuild permits have been issued, with nine houses completed.
Kelley says the blast brought residents closer and everyone in the neighborhood now knows each other.
A woman, her then-boyfriend and his brother are awaiting trial on murder and other charges that they rigged a natural gas explosion in her home in hopes of collecting insurance money.
