National Gas Prices Highest Since August

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): While they still stand below Fort Wayne's average, gas prices are making headlines nationally. The national average has gone up to $3.62/gallon, its highest price since last August. Prices in Fort Wayne are up 4 cents/gallon in the last week, averaging $3.70/gallon. Analyst Patrick DeHaan with gasbuddy.com says prices in some places have gone up between 15 and 30 cents/gallon and predicts the spikes will continue for a month or so.
