Narcotics Raid Leads to One Arrest

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man is facing several drug charges after a narcotics raid Monday morning. Just before 8AM, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department, along with other law enforcement agencies, served a search warrant at a home on Venture Lane.  Detectives had received information that someone in the home was dealing cocaine.

During the raid, law enforcement found three adults and five children. Detectives also found approximately 4.5 grams of cocaine and a small amount of marijuana.  35-year-old James Johnson was arrested on four counts of dealing cocaine and one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana.

The Indiana Department of Child Services was also called in to assist in this investigation.
