Multiple Arrests after Overnight Raid in Kosciusko County

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Officers from various Kosciusko County law enforcement agencies conducted a raid early Thursday morning at a Warsaw hotel.

The raid resulted in the arrest of multiple people involved in the promotion of prostitution, which had stemmed from an October investigation by undercover officers involving “exotic” dancers.

The various law enforcement agencies executed search warrants at Stimmelator’s Gentleman’s Club and California Dreamin’ shortly after midnight.  Officers located and seized synthetic drugs (or synthetic drug look-alike substances) as well as a substantial amount of cash.

Below are the four individuals that were arrested on preliminary felony charges of promoting prostitution and are being held on individual $2,000 bonds:

 •  51-year-old Donn Rupert, South Bend

 •  32-year-old Kimberly Gill, South Bend

 •  23-year-old Kelly Whitman, South Bend

 •  27-year-old Christine Bennett, Warsaw

Officers also executed a search warrant for a semi-trailer located behind Stimmelator’s Gentleman’s club, as well as served an active felony warrant for the owner, 64-year-old Samuel Stimmel, on preliminary charges of corrupt business influence.

Stimmel was subsequently charged with felony promoting prostitution during this morning’s investigation.  He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail but has since bonded on the original $100,000 bond.
