More Little Free Libraries Popping Up In Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne urban organization wants you to read more.

The Fort Wayne Urban League is opening a Little Free Library depot Wednesday at their offices on Hanna Street just north of Creighton Avenue. The Urban League hopes the little book depots help improve literacy in their neighborhood. 

The Downtown Rotary Club has installed over 60 “Little Free Libraries” throughout Fort Wayne, allowing anyone to take a book to read and leave a book behind for someone else. 

The Rotary Club hopes to sponsor over 100 Little Free Libraries throughout the community.
