More Information on Indiana Health Care Eligibility

INDIANA, (WOWO): Continuing our series on “The Nuts and Bolts of Obamacare,” WOWO news is breaking down more information about Indiana health care eligibility.

For starters, you’ll be using the official website, healthcare.gov to apply for coverage.  It’ll help Hoosiers compare health insurance options and look at enrollment plans to find the one that meets their needs and budgets.

However, health care expert, Mark Hatcher says all the information might be a little complicated to navigate through so he says…

‘The rule of thumb is this,  if you’re an employee and your being provided coverage… if your premiums that your having to pay at your employer are more than 9 1/2 percent of your W2 income, then you would quality for a subsidy.”

If you still have questions about enrolling in the Indiana Health Insurance Marketplace beginning October 1st, don’t hesitate to check out healthcare.gov.
