The Fort Wayne-Allen County Department of Health administered over 1100 of the vaccinations free of charge in a special clinic over the weekend. They had to close early, however, after running out of the vaccines. The vaccine is only effective if its administered within two weeks of exposure, so anyone who visited 800 Degrees Three Fires restaurant where an employee tested positive for the virus May 21 or after can benefit from the vaccination.
